This car was delivered to Hull-Dobbs Ford in Winston-Salem, NC in March of 1966. It was sold to a resident of Winston-Salem on March 28th. The original Ford dealership has been sold a few times, and is now doing business as Parkway Ford.

Of note, the very first production Mustang, number 100211, was delivered to Hull-Dobbs Ford in 1964. A descendant of the original dealership's owners is a partner in the Corporation that currently owns the dealership.

This car was built in Metuchen, New Jersey on Feb. 28th. It was equipped with a 289 cubic inch 2v V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, and a 2.80 rear axle. It was also equipped with the luxury interior package with bucket seats finished in Emberglow/Parchment vinyl. The exterior paint is Emberglow.

The current owner purchased the car from a dealer in Smithfield, NC in 2002, with 132,675 miles. It has been garaged since, and approximately 320 miles have been added in 15 years.

It appears the car has had an exterior repaint. The metal door plate, the body buck tag, and the VIN stamped on the fender match. The metal door tag does not have the original rivets, probably due to the repaint.

A service was performed in April 2016 that included: new fuel pump, lines and carburetor, new spark plugs, battery, and tires (P185/75R14). Brakes were adjusted and all fluids checked.

NC car. Clear Title and current inspection. Car drives very nice. Engine and transmission operate smoothly. Stored indoors. No apparent evidence of major rust or corrosion. Original carburetor, owners manual and spare tire are present.

Left rear quarter panel appears to have been replaced, Rear window gasket is dry and cracked, and has allowed moisture to penetrate to the rear deck, which has deteriorated. Radio antenna has been broken off. The dashboard has warped and does not fit correctly. Wooden steering wheel is cracked, some trim tape is peeling on interior console, some interior parts have deteriorated. Smokes a small amount from the exhaust at idle, and seems to run rich. Fan blower does not work. Some blistering to paint in lower doors.
