Margaret Walthour Lippitt (1872-1964), From the Meadow

Born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, Lippitt studied under Howard Helmick in Blowing Rock, North Carolina in the late 19th century. She attended the Académie Julian in 1898 where she met John Singer Sargent.

Good estate condition - some foxing to linen liner.
