Late 17th -18th century, 36.5 in. three-stage octagonal-to-round barrel with large 1 in. smooth bore, walnut stock, iron furniture, the lockplate engraved
N. HAYDOCK, no visible proof or arsenal marks, retains iron-tipped wooden ramrod, brass plates affixed to stock's underside. Mounted to a swivel pin set into a modern wooden block with signage reading "Rail Gun, London, 1680."
