Bert Miripolsky studied painting at the Chicago Art Institute in the early 1940s. He served as Cultural Advisor for the American Foreign Service in the 1950s while living in Paris during the 1950s. in 2016, an exhibition of Miripolsky's work from this period was held at the Fine Arts Building in downtown L.A.
