Attributed to Louis Brown, impressive earthenware jug, painted black, red and white, applied twisted horns, bloodshot eyes , inscribed brows, moustache, goatee, pursed lips with china plate teeth (one with broken edge which may be original), inscribed on the bottom "Brown's Pottery / Arden, N.C. / Handmade / L-88"

No condition concerns noted except possibly a small flake or skip to the rt. horn tip.
