Charlotte is a NC native with a lifelong interest in art. She grew up in eastern NC, went to school in Raleigh and later owned a gallery in Pinehurst. She has lived in the Sandhills area for the last 30 years and gained recognition for both her work and her service in the arts community.

The pearls have a cream body color, rose overtones, good luster, lightly spotted, and acceptable nacre quality.
