The first is stamped "Mintons" with the date mark for 1870, being a large sculpture of a classical beauty pouring water into a tall urn, inscribed on the platform base "A. Carrier" (A. Carrier Belleuse) (25.75 in.) ( chip to the cloth fold); the second is a classical nude resting against a branch, unidentified mark to the underside and impressed V12 (26 in.) (missing a finger proper right hand).

The Mintons figure has an original firing crack to the underside.
