Second half 19th century, the first is the well-known figure of Pandora originally modeled by Carrier-Belleuse, stamped on the bottom "Mintons" with date mark for 1862 (17 x 5.5 in.) (slight mark near the navel); the second figure (16.75 x 5.5 in.) depicts a classical beauty filling an oil lamp, fine detail throughout especially to the treatment of the hair, incised unidentified marks on the bottom (good estate condition).
