Late Qing dynasty, 19th century, the Buddha is crafted with his three chins for past, present, and future, his elongated "princely" ears, and his top knot showing his overwhelming wisdom, he sits in a meditative position with eyes cast downward, his robe is decorated with a lovely floral cloisonne pattern with a blue ground, his top knot is quite unusual for Chinese art and typically this raised pointed style would only be seen in Southeast Asian art, but it exudes the grandeur of Qing dynasty aesthetic, an elaborate triple flame representing the flaming jewel of Buddhist knowledge in the past, present, and future.
