Early 19th century, mahogany, rosewood, ebony, mixed woods, rectangular form with sliding checkerboard inlaid top opening to reveal a divided backgammon playing surface with finished side to top, single flush drawer with brass inlay, drop leaves with butterfly support, on turned and reeded legs with brass casters.
