Oral family history identifies the sitters as Conrad Gansevoort Carver and Terresa Quinby Carver. Conrad was born in 1800 in Pittsford, NY, and died 1874 in Sharon, PA. Terresa was born in 1808 in Howland, OH and died 1900 in Sharon, PA.
