The first is a tau handle hand-painted with flowers, above a sterling silver collar with date mark for 1881-1882, ebonized shaft, brass ferrule (35.25 in.); the second has an egg shaped handle, cherub reserves alternate with raised gilt lattice on a cobalt field, unmarked silver collar, ebonized shaft horn ferrule (35.5 in.); the third, circa 1860, has a relief carved ebonized handle with applied porcelain plaque of a gentleman in 18th century dress, unmarked repousse silver collar (35.5 in.).
