Circa 1940s, finely carved wooden sculptures decadently decorated with polychrome paint, gilt, and inlay, both figures stand barefoot on a red painted base, they stand with knees bent and one arm raised and one lowered with expressive hand gestures, dressed in very luxurious attire with a headdress that ties on one side, both with smiles and kind faces.

Stress cracks to wood; cracking and some loss to paint; loss to fingertips; repair that is loose to gilt wing lower section of one figure; some loss to inlay; general wear and loss to edges.
