An Indian Bronze Sculpture of a Dancing Hindu Goddess

Early 20th century, finely cast bronze sculpture in the Chola style, the goddess stands in a dancing pose with one leg bent upwards and holds one arm across her body and her other arm is bent with her hand in a welcoming mudra, she stands atop a lotus blossom base, she is untraditional without a tall crown adorning her head, instead she has tight curls around her face and her hair back in a wide bun.
