As "Z B Vance" and State Treasurer Jonathan Worth as "Jona Worth," Raleigh, dated January 1, 1863 in manuscript, the document illustrated with vignettes of the State Seal, capitol building, a portrait of Worth, a portrait of Vance, and in both lower corners, Charlotte hornets' nests; below the bond proper are 42 interest coupons dated through 1892; the verso with extensive docketing signed twice by Treasurer Worth.
