Referenced to Grover Criswell's Confederate and Southern States Bonds, as Cr. 116, signed by Confederate commissioner John Slidell of Louisiana; valued in pounds sterling, French francs and cotton; a central vignette depicts an allegorical female standing with tobacco plants, bales of cotton and holding a Confederate flag. The document retains 36 coupons overprinted in light orange.
