19th century, relief carved crest rail with applied lion's head and fruit, three column support with relief carved vine and leaf, each splat features a carved spread-winged eagle, slip seat, fluted seat rail, supported on four legs with repeating vine and leaf carved design.

Rare form retaining an old possibly original surface with warm patina.

Later upholstered seat; small chip to lion's mane; right eagle with loss to branch; rear left carved drop missing element.
