The five piece service including a coffee pot (8.75 in.), teapot, parcel gilt sugar bowl, and creamer with marks of Elkington & Co. and Birmingham (1928 or 1929) hallmarks, and a spirit kettle with mark of Birks in Canada; with rattan wrapped handles, each of melon form with finely engraved decoration, all presented atop a very fine silverplate tray with mark of Ellis-Barker Silver Co., each piece with Radcliffe family crest engraved above the motto "
Virtus Propter Se" (Valor for its own sake) (LOA 28 in.).
