The small cent token dated 1863, the obverse with an American flag, the reverse quoting General Dix, reads, "If anybody attempts to tear it down shoot him on the spot," red-brown surfaces, Fine+; the medallion a prize for academic achievement, English or American, circa 1850s, white metal, 45mm, depicting a student on the obverse and reading ""Reward of Merit" on the reverse, pierced for suspension.
