The first a very fine French silverplate match holder in the form of a monkey, hallmarks to base, late 19th century (4.25 in.) (some wear to plating showing base metal below); the second a handsome BBK pipe with briar bowl featuring applied silverplated rosettes, a silverplate bowl cap, and turned horn extension, marked to bowl for Brunner-Buhofer-Kompagnie (aka Bru-Bu) of Switzerland (LOA 5 in.) (good estate condition).
