This portrait of Rosamond Frost Howe (1915-2004) of Bedford, Massachusetts demonstrates the influence of Hazelton's studies with Frank Benson and Edmund Tarbell while a student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Rosamond, a descendent of the poet Robert Frost, studied gold and silversmithing at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
