The artist, a native of Asheville, NC, earned a BA in Fine Arts from NC Central University in Durham, NC, and was a professional illustrator for the U. S. Air Force. His paintings are widely exhibited, including work in the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
