Late 19th or early 20th century, with gourd shaped Dehua mark above a square shaped mark, the Bodhisattva of Compassion is seated on an open lotus blossom above swirling waves, in one hand she holds a pearl and the other a vase, special attention paid to her delicate hands and fingers, her robe drapes over her and covers her head revealing a crown on top with an image of a seated Buddha, her serene face has almost closed eyes, long full cheeks and rings around her neck, hollow cast.
