A Pair of Satsuma Vases by Hekizan

Meiji period (1868-1912), signed to underside Satsuma Hekizan with Shimazu crest above, decorated with very fine crackle, hand painted with polychrome enamels with samurai around the body between borders of Japanese patterns and key motif, raised on three snow covered bamboo legs, with Shimazu mon to interior of mouth.
