Caswell County, North Carolina, mid-19th century, mahogany veneers, poplar and white pine secondary, two-part form, distinctive ogee cornice, with applied arch, above a vertically veneered frieze above two hinged cabinet doors with two glass panels each and molded mullion, interior with louvered shelves, above two side-by-side drawers, the base with hinged writing lid above a long ogee single drawer support, two lower paneled cabinet doors with applied carved leaf decoration in each corner, interior with shaped single shelf, rounded corners, shaped bracket foot base.
