Possibly Virginia, late 18th century, transitional form, shaped crest rail, unusual vertical pierced splat with ten oval piercings, molded shoe, lightly shaped arm and arm supports, slip seat, flush skirt with lower cock beaded edge, turned front legs with raised pad foot, square straight rear legs.
