(New York: The Viking Press, 1952), 602 pages, octavo (9.25 in.), full green linen boards with gilt on cover and spine, the author's signature is boldly penned in blue ink on a front flysheet below a printed statement reading, "This autographed edition of East of Eden is limited to fifteen hundred copies, of which seven hundred and fifty are for distribution." The book retains its original glassine wrapper and faux woodgrain printed slipcase.

Some light dust to the cover edges; internally clean with mild age toning to the paper; the slipcase with minor chips, discoloration, and shelf wear. Overall fine condition.
