Oleg Raikis (Russia, 20th Century), Amber and Ivory Selenus Style Chess Set

Both kings signed "Raikis" on the base, one also dated "2004," hand carved and turned mammoth ivory chessmen in the Selenus style with an orange and brown poured amber stem, gallery and base treatment, one of only four such sets made by the Russian sculptor.

The kings are 4.25 in.
