Oleg Raikis (Russia, 20th Century), "The Knights" Chess Set Carved in Mammoth Ivory

Signed "Raikis 2003" on the king's base, the other pieces with an "R," while the white king has an additional signature in Cyrillic; natural and red stained carvings with the king as a bearded male, the queen as a crowned lady, the bishops as hooded monks, the knights as armored horses, and the rooks as towers.
