This is a copy of the Greek original attributed to Phidias that was discovered in 1770 and is currently housed in the Pio-Clementine Museum at the Vatican.
Missing tips of five fingers on raised hand; three repaired breaks to raised arm; crack to base; chipping to toes and edges of base; repaired break to one ankle; minor scattered chips.
