Of oval form with watercolor on ivory depicting a grieving young woman
dressed in white beside a raised mother-of-pearl memorial with seed pearl accents and with inscription in Portuguese and dated 1798, reverse with painted family registry, housed in an oval locket frame with enamel detailing and with a conforming seed pearl surround and pearl accented bail, bail tested 14KT.
