Salt glazed stoneware having a rounded lip, well-turned ovoid body tapered to the base, Fox Family extruded handle with thumb-print, some salt-spotting, script "2 J Fox" to left of the handle.

Thin hairline across the handle and upwards from base 2 in.; abrasion below signature; several nicks to body; .75 in. base rim chip; upper handle chip. Very good condition based on rarity and age.
