Circa 1860s, consisting of a quarter plate case depicting a late 17th century cavalier and maiden, the tintype image within being a family group; plus a double sixth plate case decorated with a mother, child and dog, the interior with tintypes, likely of a mother and her son; the third case is octagonal and is molded with a Renaissance period chess match, no image within.
