English Wooley & Sargant Horseman's Saber or Hanger

Before 1820, curved single fuller 30 in. blade marked WOOLEY & SARGANT on top; the brass guard with carved wooden grip encased in red leather.

From the Collection of Mr. Salvatore Benedetto, Charlotte, North Carolina

The name "Wooley" is almost completely worn off of the blade; light spotting throughout; wear to the leather's high point with two scuffs on the right side; patinated brass. Overall very good condition.
