35 in. single fuller steel blade, the ricasso marked U.S. / G.G.C./ 1862 on the right and stamped with a cartouche on the left reading MANSFIELD & LAMB / FORESTDALE, R.I.; pierced brass guard with L.D. (L. Dustin) inspector's mark to pommel cap; leather wrapped grip; two ring scabbard.

Fresh, original attic condition; grip leather lacks wire; original surfaces throughout with light oxidation to ferrous elements; the front of the guard bent downward from unknown impact.
