Early 20th century, an oval brass box with hinged lid, incised around body with two phoenixes amidst swirling Chinese lingzhi style clouds, interior of lid also incised with same motif, the lid is fully covered by a white jade dragon carving.

Rubbing and wear to brass surface on exterior; resting pads to underside.
