Dan Shaw-Town received his BA Fine Art from London Metropolitan University and his MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London. He currently lives and works in New York. Working within a minimalist tradition, Shaw-Town's layered work is an interplay of a dark inky tactile surface and what the viewer may read as being obscured from their vision.
