Granville Perkins (NY/MD, 1830-1895), Pair of Italian Scenes

Both oil on canvas and signed at lower left, the first depicting a view along the Tiber towards the dome of Saint Peter's Basillica with Castel Sant'Angelo to the right, the second a charming scene of figures by an Italian lake, both presented in matching gilt composition frames of the period.
