Late 20th century, brass construction, the back plate signed JAMES SHORT LONDON with serial number "109/767 = 12" (indicating the 767th instrument produced by the firm, and being the 109th with a 12 in. focus), the primary mirror is in the back of of the tube, which also has an a screw-rod adjustment for the secondary mirror in the tube's front, with lens cap, the tube mounted on collapsable brass tripod stand.
