American Federal Cherry Chest of Drawers

Circa 1820, poplar secondary, case with four graduated drawers with a scratch bead edge, scalloped skirt with line inlay, raised on shaped bracket feet; the upper drawer with old incised initials B.F.I. to left outer side.

37.25 x 40.5 x 19.75 in.

Refinished; later drilled pulls; front foot facings replaced; shrinkage cracks to sides of case.
