Early 19th century, mahogany with ligthwood inlays, serpentine form, with banded and edge inlays, hinged lid with cockbeading, interior of lid with star inlay and divided compartment, flush base with applied molding.

Some inlay loss; warp to lid causing gap to right side of case; later clasp; loss to cockbeading.
