Distributed by Horstmann & Sons, Philadelphia, second half 19th century, the 29.5 in. straight blade, likely a Solingen product with king's head proof on ricasso, etched Templar motifs throughout; brass guard and knight's head pommel; bone grip with brass cross; the scabbard has allover gilt, the outer face with Templar symbolism; included is the scabbards original gilt metal hanger.
