Second half 18th century, a footed bowl decorated around the exterior with stylized flowering plants beneath a band of diagonally facing lines, the interior with blue decoration similar to the mark for
De Klauw, the underside marked with the initials "D.M."
5 7/8 x 9 7/8 in.
"D.M." may have been one of the potters or decorators for The Claw Factory in the 18th century.
Some scraping to the rim glaze; wear and minor chips to the base rim; very good condition for 18th century Delft pottery. Examined with black light.
