19th century, hand painted with scrolled shaped medallions, the largest populated with two standing cranes beneath large chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, and bamboo, against a gem like cobalt blue ground with scrolling peony vines in gilt, five kiln spur marks to underside.

Hairline crack to rim; two areas of obvious repair and restoration to rim on opposite sides of the charger; some loss to enamels; rubbing and considerable loss to gilt.
