A Chinese Blue and White Serving Platter

19th century or earlier, octagonal shaped platter with dimpled corners, decorated in blue with an elegant lady holding a lower basket, walking together with a small boy in a lush outdoor setting by a lotus pond, with decorative blue floral border, light brown glaze around rim, unglazed underside.


12 1/8 x 8 7/8 in.

A small glaze defect or possible repair to reverse at top; iron hanger.
