Early 19th century underside mark in red (1806-1825), three part form, the body painted in traditional Imari colors with a design of fenced gardens, the numerous branches bearing blossoms and fruit, heavily gilded handles terminate in devil masks, the urn is raised on a square plinth. (Please note the wine bottle is not included with the lot.)
18.75 x 14.5 (at top rim) x 10 in.
Rubbing to gilt at high points; chips and some touch-ups to devil masks; flakes to glaze and marks due to water drips where the urn joins the pedestal; several scratches, never-the-less, good condition for age and use.
