A Group of Foley China (19)

Made in England, 1930s, decorated with a black and white courting couple silhouette over a yellow ground, marked "271". The group includes nine plates (6 1/8 in.); nine saucers (one with edge chip); nine cups (2.75 in.); an open sugar.

Foley China later became Coalport.

Some plates with scratches to the yellow ground, a few pieces with fleabites to rim, one plate with 2 in. hairline at rim, and one cup with hairline (see photo).
