Antique Chinese Chippendale Style Carved Mahogany Chest on Frame

19th century, two-part form, oak and pine secondary, single-board hinged lid with fretwork frieze, open interior, the front with applied carving of parasols columns and rocky plinths, the lower frame with two fretwork drawers, gadrooned edge, acanthus carved knee and pad foot with casters, the sides with large brass bail handles.
