Meiji period (1868-1912), one footed bowl decorated with shaped medallions containing birds and fauna to sides of exterior and interior, and a circular medallion of pine, plum, and bamboo in blue to center of bowl, and a larger bowl decorated with a foo lion playing with large ball on an outdoor terrace, with double foot rim to underside.

Diameter 8.25 in., 7.25 in.

Glaze defect to rim of bowl; rubbing and loss to gilt on rim of footed ball; some minor rubbing and loss to enamels on bowl.
