Three Contemporary Native American Style Painted Gourds

Crafted in the Cherokee tradition: a carved and painted gourd signed "D. Acker" (Diane Acker Bell) dated 2011 with 'mountain and rising sun' rim (6.5 x 7 in.) and a black painted gourd signed "Muhl 1993" with finely bound bands of grass and wool with pendant feather and bead detail (8 x 12 in.); the third is carved with erratic lines picked out in black signed "Gnudson" (4.75 in.).
